Cataplana de marisco – Seafood Cataplana

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • Cataplana Algarvia
    Recipe for a Cataplana Algarvia

    4 pcs salmon fillet

  • 4 Pcs monkfish
  • 4 pcs grouper
  • 8 pcs crevettes raw
  • 16 pcs cockle or mussel
  • 100 g paprika green, stripes
  • 100 g paprika red, stripes
  • 100 g onion white, strips
  • 1200 g tomato gutted, strips
  • 200 g olive oil
  • 20 g apple cider vinegar
  • some pepper and salt

Preparation:

 

  1. We heat the olive oil lightly, add the vegetables, steam everything briefly and clear with the wine vinegar. Now we add the mussels, close the lid and wait until the mussels rise. Then add the crevettes and fish pieces, also sand until the fish is glassy. Please close the Cataplana again and again. Pepper and salt a little.
  2. Depending on the taste, can be used to quench a little white wine in addition to apple cider vinegar.
